This wording ships so the app has something to show. Replace it in the CMS under ⚖️ Legal with a policy your own lawyer has approved.
Your name, email address and — if you give it — your phone number and country. We also record how you use the app: books opened, quizzes attempted, credits spent, and the questions you ask the AI tutor.
To run your account, to show you the right books and past questions, to work out what to recommend, and to keep the app safe and working.
Your school or sponsor can see progress for students they sponsor. AI features send your question — and the passage you asked about — to our AI provider so it can answer. We do not sell your personal information.
For as long as you have an account, and afterwards only where the law requires it.
You can ask for a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account by emailing support@mybookpal.app. You can turn off SMS messages at any time.
MyBookPal is built for students, including under-18s. A parent or guardian may contact us about their child's account at the address above.
